Lord Michael Howard Plants Tree
An ornamental tree has been planted in the grounds of Ty Bryngwyn Llanelli Hospice by Michael Howard.
The former leader of the Conservative party re-visited his home town of Llanelli in his role as chairman of Help the Hospices.
Celebration is in order as this month marks the tenth anniversary of the opening of the inpatients centre.
Ty Bryngwyn's events co-ordinator and trustee Audrey Jenkins said: "Everybody was so pleased to see him.
"He was genuine and he took plenty of time going round the beds and speaking to the patients.
"It is a wonderful place and it has been well worth all of the hard work.
"The people of Llanelli have been so generous, it is unbelievable."
