Dr. Mary Llewellyn-Morgan

Dr. Mary was one of the founder members of the Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Trust 25 years ago.

She was Medical Officer for Health , introducing the Family Planning Association to the town.

Dr. Mary was also a magistrate for 30 years and became Chairman of the Bench.

As 2009 is the 10th. anniversary of the Festival of Light, Dr. Mary agreed to perform the switching on ceremony of the lights. By way of an introduction she gave a well received speech outlining the, sometimes torturous path, that lead to the Centre of Excellence we have today: Ty Bryngwyn Hospice.
