Tough Mudder for a Tough Mudder

"A great man recently lost his battle to cancer after an epic fight to overcome it. Peter Bowen, Lewis's Gramps, was loved by many and inspired even more.

In his memory and in aid of an amazing hospice who not only cared for Peter but many more. Running only on donations, Ty Bryngwyn hospice helps people and their families in very tough times.

For you to donate your hard earned money, we wanted to offer real value (entertainment). We are embarking on a 12 mile, 25 obstacle assault designed by the special forces. Lewis has only ever run 5 miles (with breaks) and constantly claims "I am not built for running". We aim to raise £5000 for a great cause and urge you to dig deep and spread the word. We leave you with this poem from a picture in the hospice:"

If you think you are beaten, you are
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't
It is almost certain you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you are outclassed, you are
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!
